  3. Not necessarily. It will depend on when the merchant processes the payment. Some online merchants may process transactions in batches at the end of the day, or before they ship the item. If you do not see the option to choose "Debit" or "Visa Debit", not to worry. Provided the online merchant accepts Visa Debit, you will select "Credit Card" as the payment method and / or "Visa" as the card type. It’s highly recommended that you visit the Visa Canada website and confirm that the online shopping site accepts Visa Debit before using your enhanced TD Access Card to make an online debit purchase.

It works like this: say you make a purchase for $20.00 and you would also like $50.00 cash. Ask the retailer if they offer cash back. If so, ask for the purchase amount to be topped up for the $50 cash back. The retailer will process $70.00 from your account and you get the merchandise you purchased plus the $50.00 cash.
