Security When Shopping Online
Protect your online purchases with an additional layer of security with Verified by Visa for your TD Visa Credit Card or Mastercard SecureCode for your TD MasterCard® Card By registering and creating a password your Card can only be used by you to make online purchases. Signing up is available at no cost!
If you have a TD Visa Card
You'll be required to provide your Verified by Visa password every time when you make an online purchase from a participating retailer. If you do not have a password, you will be prompted to register for one with Verified by Visa.
To register for Verified by Visa you’ll need:
- Your TD Visa Card number
- The name embossed on your Card
- The last three digits on the signature panel on the back of your Card
- Your date of birth
If you have a TD CashBack MasterCard® Card
Once you have set up your own private SecureCode you will be prompted to enter it when you make a purchase at a participating online retailer. Without the correct MasterCard SecureCode, the purchase cannot be processed. With this added protection, even if someone knows your TD MasterCard Credit Card number, they will not be able to use it for online purchases.
To register for MasterCard SecureCode you’ll need:
- Your TD MasterCard Card number
- The name embossed on your Card
- The last three digits on the signature panel on the back of your Card
- Your date of birth
